Life does not always unfold as we imagined. There are seasons of joy, but also seasons of suffering, uncertainty, weakness and pain. Evolving Poet is a place where those experiences can be expressed openly, honestly and through the lens of Christian faith.
Sometimes, we can be tempted to present a version of ourselves that society considers perfect and acceptable. We hide our weaknesses, conceal our struggles and hold up an image of who we believe we should be.
Yet when we turn to the Bible, we encounter imperfect people. People who struggled, stumbled, doubted and experienced profound suffering. And still, God did incredible things through them.
Evolving Poet embraces the rough edges of life. It is about being exposed rather than pretending, acknowledging pain rather than concealing it, and recognising that even through our most difficult seasons, glory can still be given to God.
The poetry and reflections shared here are rooted in personal experiences, faith, suffering, hope and the continuing work of God in an imperfect life.
This is not a place to seek the applause or glory of man.
We were not created to receive glory for ourselves, but to give glory to the One who alone is worthy to hold it.
