Evolving Poet uses essential cookies for secure sessions, sign-in, MFA and anonymous heart interactions. Registered accounts store the information needed to provide comments, bookmarks, theme preferences and optional new-post email notifications.
Email notifications are optional and can be turned off at any time from account settings or the unsubscribe link in an email. Passwords are stored as secure hashes, not readable passwords.
Server and security logs may be retained for abuse prevention and operational security. This page is a starter privacy notice and should be reviewed with your final hosting, analytics and email-provider details before launch.
Visitor analytics and security
Evolving Poet records limited technical information when the public website is visited. This may include the visitor's IP address, the page requested, date and time of the visit, browser/device information, referrer information, and an approximate country, region and city derived from the IP address.
This information is used for internal website analytics, security and abuse prevention. It is available only to authorised administrators and is not used for precise GPS location tracking.
Detailed visitor records are retained for up to 90 days. Aggregated statistics that do not contain individual IP addresses or raw browser information may be retained for longer.
